A well-executed bunt can move runners, force mistakes, and create scoring chances without needing a big hit. At younger ages especially, defenses often struggle with bunts, making it a valuable tool for any team that knows how to use it effectively.

Our Focus This Season
We will begin working on bunting during our Batter’s Den time and at practices, breaking it down step-by-step and reinforcing proper technique. We’ll also be adding a bunting video to the Training section so players can review fundamentals and game situations outside of practice.
Bunting isn’t flashy—but it wins games. Teaching it the right way gives our players another tool to compete, contribute, and succeed.
